To discuss daily activities, we generally use the reflexive form of verbs.

• I dress myself every morning. (Reflexive)
• I dress my son every morning. (Non-reflexive)

The infinitive form of a reflexive verb is written with the reflexive pronoun "se". For example: afeitarse (to shave oneself), lavarse (to wash oneself), and peinarse (to comb one´s hair).

Below are example sentences using reflexive verbs:

Juan se despierta a las siete de la mañana todos los días. - Juan wakes up at 7am everyday.
Él se lava. - He washes himself.
Ellos se lavan las manos.
They wash their hands.
Ella se peina. - She combs her hair.
Él se peina. - He combs his hair.
[She showers with cold water.
Juan y Cecilia quieren vestirse de pies a cabeza.
Juan and Cecilia want to dress themselves head to toe.
Sofía se lava la cara. - Sofía washes her face.
Raquel nunca se pone vestido. - Raquel never wears a dress.
