Superlatives

Superlatives indicate that one person or thing is the most, best, least, or worst of all. To express superlatives we use the formula:

el/la/los/las + noun + más + adjective
or
el/la/los/las + noun + menos + adjective

Let's look at some example sentences:

Es el profesor más amable de la escuela.

Note! The superlative always uses de to mean in or of. (e.g. the largest in the world, the smartest of the students)
