I had a great time at this school with its incredible garden with tropical fruits, teachers that very patiently taught me the basics that I needed for my travels. The combination Spanish by the Sea & Spanish by the River made me enjoy both the ocean and the river. The step by step program that they use make sure you can just travel from one school to the other and continue at the right step (level). A very well kept secret these escuelitas...

I was surprised how much I learned in three weeks, the teacher was skillful. I loved the ambiance at this new school. Staff very friendly. It was great to be able to continue the same program in Turrialba, Costa Rica.

Hola: I attended two, one week sessions with a four day break, and stayed at the school. The staff were very accomidating and provided good travel advice, well beyond Spanish, which I much appreciated as a first time visitor to Panama. My instruction was small group and 1 on 1. My instructor was very professional and just challenging enough, so that I made progress each day. As a side benifit I also learned much about the local culture, and had fun enjoying the activities. I highly recommend this school. I am a retired Manager from California.

The school is a bit out of the center, but a taxi only costs 50 cents and it is well worth it... the location is spacious and very new... the yard is full of oranges, bananas and pineapples.. Staff is superfriendly and the program is very well organized. You can start at any time and you will be placed exactly at the right level, thanks to their special set-up in steps... My hostfamily here was wonderfull and the volunteer work I did with the indigenous children was very interesting and helped me improve my Spanish as well... 100% recommendable...

Our family attended Habla Ya for 3 weeks in June and July of 2011. In addition to taking four-hour group lessons in the afternoons, we participated in many excursions offered by Explora Ya (under the same management as Habla Ya), volunteered at local schools, and stayed with local host families. Habla Ya is a very professional, responsive organization. They helped arrange all aspects of our stay in Boquete and were willing to make adjustments as necessary. The teaching methods are excellent, providing a wide range of teaching techniques including conversation, listening skills, grammar, and a variety of activities to keep lessons fun. Our teacher, Arelis, was excellent, and I would highly recommend her. In addition, prior to arriving in Boquete, my 14-year old son and I took some online lessons through Habla Ya with Janeth, who is also a wonderful teacher.
