I spent two weeks studying at the Spanish School Matagalpa and had a wonderful time. The school allows you to study with two different teachers and they provided me with different opportunities to learn Spanish and about the Nicaraguan culture. The school director, Noelia, is very professional but extremely outgoing and did everything in her power to make my stay enjoyable. During that time I stayed with a family and was extremely well fed and made to feel like part of the family.

I anticipated spending a number of weeks at this school but only stayed a few days. They were quite unorganized in terms of keeping commitments made via email and with one or two exceptions, the quality of instruction was not satisfactory. The homestay was great as was the town.
