The word otro means other or another.

  • Indefinite articles like un, unos, una, unas
    are NOT used with the word OTRO

    Compré otro libro.
          I bought another book.

    Quise otra almohada.
          I wanted another pillow.

    Ayer vimos dos otros edificios abandonados.
          Yesterday we saw two other abandoned
           buildings.

    Hablamos de otras formas de vida.
          We spoke of other forms of life.

    Él compró otro formas helado.
          He bought another icecream.

    ¿Hubo alguna otra regla?.
          Was there any other rule?

    Hablamos de otros temas.
          We spoke of other subjects.
