Spanish Grammar Present Indicative Verb Quedarse - to stay

The verb quedarse (conjugation) is regular. It means to stay or to remain. It is regularly used with the pronouns me, te, se, nos, os. The conjugation in the present is shown in the table below.

yo me quedo (I stayed)
te quedas (you stayed)
Ud./él/ella se queda (you/he/she stays)
nosotros (as) nos quedamos (we stay)
vosotros (as) os quedáis (you guys stay)
Uds./ellos/ ellas se quedan (you all/they stay)

Yo me quedo aquí.

I'm staying here.

Vamos o te quedas sin helado.

Let's go or you will stay with no ice cream.

Ella se queda aquí.

She stays here.

Nos quedamos contigo.

We stay with you.

Ustedes se quedan en casa.

You all stay home.

A pesar del ruido, me quedo.

Despite the noise, I stay.
