Mariana: ¿Qué más necesitamos para la fiesta?
What do we need for the party?

Nidia: Cuatro cajas de servilletas, doce cucharas, doce tenedores y doce cuchillos.
Four boxes of napkins, twelve spoons, twelve forks and twelve knives.

Mariana: ¿Compramos también cinco botellas de vino?
Did we also buy five bottles of wine?

Nidia: Sí y un sacacorchos, es que creo que el nuestro se ha perdido.
Yes and a corkscrew, I think that ours is lost.

Mariana: ¿Y la decoración del salón?
And the decor of the room?

Nidia: Sacamos la alfombra para que la gente baile.
We pulled the carpet away to let people dance.

Mariana: ¿Colgamos el cuadro ese surrealista?
Should we take out the surreal box?

Nidia: No, por favor. Tengo miedo de ese cuadro que nos ha regalado tu tío loco.
No thank you. I have fear of that box we gave to your crazy uncle.

Mariana: ¡No me digas!
You don't say!

Nidia: Te lo juro. Espera, Tenemos que comprar un mantel más grande.
I promise. Wait, we have to buy a larger tablecloth.

Mariana: Pero en este supermercado no se venden manteles.
But in this store they do not sell tablecloths.

Nidia: Sí, que los venden. Mira por allá.

Mariana: Si, pero este mantel es aún peor que el cuadro que nos ha regalado el tío Lucas.
