Querer means "to want." Querer is an irregular verb. When conjugated, e changes to ie (except for nostoros and vosotros).

Quiero comprar una camisa.
      I want to buy a shirt.
¿Cuántas naranjas quieres?
      How many oranges do you want?
Ella quiere un beso.
      She wants a kiss.
Nosotros queremos algo dulce.
      We want something sweet.
Quieren comprar un coche.
      They want to buy a car.
