Yo tuve un gato siamés que se llamaba Benito. En general a mí siempre me han gustado los gatos. Y este en especial me gustó más, porque lo compré con mi esposo. Lo tuve durante casi 2 años ó 3 y era el gato de 'guerra' de mi esposo, porque él jugaba como si fuera un, como si fuera un juguete con el gato, y el gato permitía que se le hiciera todo. Era muy bueno en general igual que todos los pets, igual que todos los animales de casa, estaba muy bien amaestrado, no molestaba, y era muy buena compañía. Pero murió porque ingirió un veneno en el techo de la casa de un vecino, y nosotros pensamos que lo había atropellado un carro. Y lo llevamos al veterinario, y el veterinario no nos dijo que había sido un envenenamiento, así que el pobre gato estuvo casi dos días mal y nosotros pensábamos que el golpe de un atropellamiento de carro. Y finalmente mi esposo lo llevó al veterinario y justo allí murió y fue una situación muy triste, porque murió en presencia de él, y de allí nunca más en adelante quise tener gatos.

I had a Siamese cat named Benito. Generally I have always liked cats. And I especially liked this one because my husband bought it for me. I had it for about 2 or 3 years and it was a real play-thing for my husband because he would play with him as if the cat were a toy and the cat would let him do anything to him. He was really good, like all pets, like all house pets, well trained, didn't bother anyone, and was good company. But he died because next door the neighbor put some poison on the roof and we thought that he had been hit by a car. We took him to the veterinarian, and the veterinarian told us that he had been poisoned, and so the poor cat had been sick for two days and we thought that he had been hit in a car accident. Finally my husband took him to the veterinarian and there he died and it was all a sad situation because he died in front of my husband and since that time I haven't wanted any cats.
