Pensar means to think.
Pensar is an irregular verb in the present tense.
However, it is regular in the preterite.

yo pensé I thought
pensaste you thought
Ud./él/ella pensó you/he/she thought
nosotros/as pensamos we thought
vosotros/as pensasteis you all thought
Uds./ellos/ellas pensaron you all/they thought

Pensé mucho en ella.
      I thought a lot about her.

Pensaste en algo.
      You thought about something.

Rafael pensó en su trabajo.
      Rafael thought about his work.

Pensamos en calidad no en cantidad.
      We thought about quality not quantity.

¿Pensasteis alguna vez en la adopción?
      Did you guys ever think of adopting?

Pensaron solo en ir a la playa.
      They thought only about going to the beach.
