Notice how the followings expressions of time are used.

aún - still
jamás - never
no ... jamás - never ever
todavía - still
todavía ... no - not yet
ya - already
ya no - no longer


¿Asistes a la escuela aún?
Pedro asiste a la escuela aún.
Mamá jamás ha viajado fuera del país.
No ha viajado fuera del país jamás.
¿Carlos no te has levantado todavía?
Todavía no.
¿Ya fuiste al hospital?
Ya no estoy enfermo.

Note: If jamás precedes the verb, it is used
by itself to mean "never", however, if jamás
follows the verb, it has an emphatic connotation and requires
a negative word such as no preceding the verb.
Todavía and aún are interchangeable,
and they can occupy more one place in the sentence.
