The Future

Future Tense

To discuss actions that have not yet occurred we use the future tense. The future is used to express the idea of shall or will. This is best understood by looking at a few examples.

Let's look at the regular verb caminar (to walk).

Yo caminaré - I will walk
El caminará - He will walk

Con Jesús caminaré. - I will walk with Jesus.

The regular verb escribir (to write).

Yo escribiré - I will write
Nosotros escribiremos - We will write

Escribiremos la canción. - We will write the song.
