subjunctive mood - expressing hopes and wishes

Gramática
Spanish verbs have both a tense and a mood. Until now, you
have been using the indicative mood which is used to discuss
facts and reality.

The subjunctive mood is used to discuss wishes, hopes,
and fantasies. Sentences may begin with:

Quiero que... - I want that...
Deseo que... - I desire that...
