preterite - regular -ir verbs

Gramática
The verb escribir (to write)
is regular in the preterite tense.
The preterite tense endings are:
í, iste, ió, imos, isteis, ieron

The nosotros form is the same in
the present and preterite tenses.

Preterite tense forms of escribir (to write)


yo	escribí	(I wrote)
tú	escribiste	(you wrote)
Ud./él/ella	escribió	(you wrote, he/she wrote)
nosotros	escribimos	(we wrote)
vosotros	escribisteis	(you guys wrote)
Uds./ellos/ ellas	escribieron	(you all/they wrote)

Juan, escribe la respuesta en la pizarra. - Juan, write the answer on the blackboard.
