Present Subjunctive - Verb Conjugation

To form the present subjunctive you simply take the first person indicative form of the verb and, with -ar verbs, change the -o ending to -e. Example: the first person indicative form of the verb hablar (to speak) is hablo. The table below shows the conjugation of hablar in the present subjunctive:
For -er and -ir verbs, change the -o to -a. Example: the first person indicative form of the verb comer (to eat) is como. The table below shows the conjugation of comer in the present subjunctive:
Example: the first person indicative form of the verb vivir (to live) is vivo. The table below shows the conjugation of vivir in the present subjunctive:
