Overview

Irregular verbs do not follow standard rules of conjugation in the different verb tenses. The verb ir (conjugation) is irregular in the present subjunctive:

yo vaya (I go)
vayas (you go)
Ud./él/ ella vaya (you go)
nosotros (as) vayamos (we go)
vosotros (as) vayáis (you guys go)
Uds./ellos/ ellas vayan (you all/they go)

Let's look at some example sentences:

Quiere que vayas al hospital.
He/she wants you to go to the hospital.

Es necesario que vayas.
It's necessary that you go.
