The possessive adjectives in English are:
my, your, his, her, our, their

A possessive adjective accompanies a noun.

mi embarque - my shipment
tu beneficio - your benefit
nuestro arreglo - our arrangement
su sinceridad - his, her, their or your sincerity
su padre - his, her, their or your father
sus padres - his, her, their or your parents
sus fondos - his, her, their or your money

Gramática
A possessive pronoun replaces a noun.

Su compañía es más importante que la mía.
His firm is more important than mine.

Usted ha acabado su trabajo, pero yo no he principiado el mío.
You have finished your work, but I have not started mine.

Estos títulos y acciones son míos.
These bonds and shares are mine.

The possessive pronoun must be preceded by the
definite article except when it follows the verb
to be (ser) and ownership is asserted.

mine              El mío, la mía, los míos, las mías
yours             El tuyo, la tuya, los tuyos, las tuyas 
his, hers, yours  El suyo, la suya, los suyos, las suyas
theirs, (polite)      
ours              El nuestro, la nuestra, los nuestros, las nuestras 
yours (familiar)  El vuestro, la vuestra, los vuestros, las vuestras

Sentences
¿Este niño es suyo?
No, no es mío.

Nuestra hija no es tan bonita como la suya.

¿Quiere comprar nuestros muebles?
No, porque los míos son de otro estilo.
