Irregular Spanish Verbs

The verbs cerrar (to close) and perder (to lose) are irregular, (e) changes to (ie) in the present tense (with the exception of nostoros). The congugation of the verbs cerrar and perder is shown below.

Present Tense - CERRAR and PERDER

           cerrar      perder 

Yo         cierro      pierdo 
Tú         cierras     pierdes 
Él         cierra      pierde 
Nosotros   cerramos    perdemos 
Ellos      cierran     pierden 

The verbs servir (to serve) and reir (to laugh) are irregular, (e) changes to (i) in the present tense (with the exception of nostoros). The congugation of the verbs servir and reir is shown below.
