Irregular Spanish Verbs

Regular verbs follow the same rules of conjugation in all the Spanish verb tenses. An irregular verb is one which does NOT follow standard rules of conjugation. Fortunately, many of the exceptions to the rules are predictable.

Some example sentences using irregular verbs in the present tense are shown below:

Venimos de la plaza central.
We come from the main plaza.

Tu casa está bien ubicada.
Your house is well located.

Ella juega tenis y habla dos idiomas.
She plays tennis and speaks two languages.
