Yo trabajaba en la oficina. - I was working in the office.
María trabajaba en Paris. - Mary was working in Paris.
Yo trabajaba en la oficina ayer cuando la tormenta vino. - I was working in the office yesterday when the storm came.
María trabajaba en Nueva York. - Mary was working in New York.
Yo trabajaba a menudo durante las vacaciones. - I often worked (used to work) during the vacation.

¿Trabajabas de jardinero? - Were you working as a gardener?

Nosotros trabajábamos en el gobierno. - We used to work for the government.
Nosotros trabajábamos en la oficina. - We were working in the office.
Trabajaban arduamente. - They worked arduously.
Las secretarias trabajaban en la oficina. - The secretaries were working in the office.
Las muchachas trabajaban en el centro. - The girls used to work downtown.
Manuel y Juan trabajaban en la misma compañía. - Manuel and Juan used to work for the same company.
¿Pero ustedes no trabajaban juntos? - But didn't you all used work together?
