Spanish for Government Employees
State and local governments provide their constituents with vital services, such as transportation, public safety, health care, education, utilities, and courts. Seven out of 10 of government employees work for local governments, such as counties, cities, special districts, and towns. A large percentage of these State and local workers work in public education. As Spanish speaking populations increase, it is becoming more and more important for government employees to adapt to the needs of the communities they serve. Proficiency in the Spanish language has become a necessity for government employees everywhere. |
