reflexive verbs

A verb is reflexive when the subject and the object are the same. (levantarse - to get up, and acostarse - to go to bed). They are formed using the following personal pronoun complements:
me / te / se / nos / os

levantar
(levantarse - to get up/stand up) acostar
(acostarse - to go to bed/to lie down)
Yo me levanto - I get up
Tú te levantas - you get up
Él / Ella se levanta - he/she gets up
Nosotros nos levantamos - we get up
Vosotros os levantáis - you get up (pl.)
Ellos / Ellas se levantan - they get up Yo me acuesto - I go to bed
Tú te acuestas - you go to bed
Él / Ella se acuesta - he/she goes to bed
Nosotros nos acostamos - we go to bed
Vosotros os acostáis - you go to bed (pl.)
Ellos / Ellas se acuestan - they go to bed
