Gramática
The word otro means other or another.
It must always agree in gender and number with the noun.

singular forms
otro (masculine)
otra (feminine)

plural forms
otros (masculine)
otras (feminine)

  • NB: Indefinite articles like un, unos, una, unas
    are NOT used with the word OTRO
  • Sentences with singular forms
    Quiero otra receta. - I want another recipe.
    Quiero otra copia. - I want another copy.
    Quiero otro bollo, por favor. - I want another bun, please.
    Ella quiere otro vaso. - She wants another glass.
    Juan quiere otro tamal. - Juan wants another tamal.
    ¿Quieres otro pastel? - Do you want another cake?
    ¿Quieres otra copa? - Do you want another cup?
    ¿Quieres otra taza de té? - Would you like another cup of tea?
    ¿Quieres otra taza de café? - Would you like another cup of tea?
    ¡No queremos otra cerveza! - We don't want another beer!

    Sentences with plural forms
    Quiero otros trastes de cocina. - I want other kitchenware.
    Quiero otros ejemplos. - I want other examples.
    Ella quiere otras tazas. - She wants other cups.
    Ana y Juan quieren otras flores. - Ana and Juan want other flowers.
    Tú quieres otras maletas. - You want other luggage.
    Queremos otros recursos. - We want other resources.
    No queremos otros politicos! - We don't want other politicians!
    Queremos otros jefes. - We want other bosses.
    Ahora, quieren otros servicios. - Now, they want other services.
