superlatives

Gramática
Superlatives indicate that one person or thing
is the most, best, least, or worst of all.
To express superlatives we use the formula:

el/la/los/las + noun + más + adjective
or
el/la/los/las + noun + menos + adjective

Examples:

José is the most intelligent of the students.

Es la ciudad menos interesante del mundo.

Note!
The superlative always uses de to mean in or of.
(e.g. the largest in the world, the smartest of the students)

Gramática
Bueno and malo have irregular forms for the superlative.

lo/la mejor - the best
los/las mejores - the best

lo/la peor - the worst

Note!
Más and menos are not used with mejor and peor.
