Gramática
Bueno means good. It has many forms.
buen, bueno, buenos, buena, buenas.

Bueno is an adjective, so its form depends
upon the gender and number of the noun it describes.

Examples:
El libro es bueno. - The book is good.
La clase es buena. - The class is good.
Los teléfonos son buenos. - The telephones are good.
Las computadoras son buenas. - The computers are good.

If bueno goes before the masculine noun, drop the o
and use buen

Examples:

Es un buen restaurante. - It is a good restaurant.
un buen alumno - a good student (male)
una buena alumna - a good student (female)

Gramática
Don't confuse buen (good) and bien (well).

Examples:
Ella toca bien la guitarra.
She plays the guitar well.
Manual organiza todo muy bien.
Manuel organizes everything very well.
¡Qué bien habla!
How well you speak!

Note! bien is an adverb so gender and
number make no difference.

Allí se come bien porque es un buen restaurante.
One eats well there because it is a good restuarant.
Es un buen guitarrista. Toca bien la guitarra.
He is a good guitarist. He plays the guitar well.
Juega bien porque es un buen jugador.
He plays well because he is a good player.
El carro es muy bueno. Anda muy bien.
The car is very good. It runs well.
Sus cuadros son muy buenos. El es un buen pintor.
His paintings are very good. He is a good painter.
Él negocia muy bien porque es un buen diplomático.
He negotiates very well because he is a good diplomat.
El Sr. Martínez es un buen jefe. Organiza todo muy bien.
Mr. Martínez is a good boss. He organizes everything very well.
Mi reloj no es bueno. No funciona bien.
My watch is not good. It does not function well.
Ella escribe a una máquina bien. Ella es una buena secretaria.
She types well. She is a good secretary.
En el teatro quiero buenos asientos para ver bien.
I want good seats in the theater to see well.
