Spanish Interrogatives - Asking Questions  



Gramática
Words called "interrogatives" are often used to ask questions,
such as "how", "where", "how many", etc.

Below are three common interrogative words.

cómo -- how?

cuántos -- how many?

dónde -- where?

Note: These interrogative words have accent marks.
Sometimes these same words are used in sentences that are
not questions, and then there is no accent mark. The accent
mark does not affect the pronunciation of these words.

¿Cómo se dice casa en español? -How do you say house in Spanish?

¿Cómo es tu ciudad? - How is your city?

¿Cómo es jugar fútbol? - How is it to play soccer?
¿Cómo es jugar beisbol ? - How is it to play baseball?
