The one on one lessons that I had at ABC Spanish was very professional in a very relaxed environment at the teacher´s house. You have the ability to cover whatever materials you want to learn and the most immportant thing is that your skill level does not matter. Going over basics or covering the many advanced tenses in Spanish, the pace is totally set by the student and what they can handle. I recommend teacher William for his ability to explain words, phrases, and situations with ease as he has good command of both English and Spanish skills. He is also very flexible with his times and accomodating. The only part I wish I was a part of but did not do was the home stay, the family was full. I had already done quite a bit of spanish study in Australia and Latin America, and was looking for a spanish teacher who could iron out the small errors remaining in my speech, plus someone who could help me towards my goal of verbal fluency. William proved to be very adept in this regard, including isolating weak areas in my knowledge of spanish and helping me perfect elements of the language and grammar I was using. I planned a trip to Bolivia to develop and practice my Spanish speaking, writing and reading skills. I am a bilingual teacher in the United States and need to strengthen my Spanish to prepare for the upcoming school year. The five days that I took classes at "ABC Spanish School" were focused and all very much at a level that challenged me in every way. With one on one classes based on my schedule I got as much out of every minute as possible. I have many informative references to refer back to and enough exercises to complete to keep me busy the rest of the summer. I really enjoyed the concrete tie to grammer and a clear explanation for every question I had. If you are looking for a professional Spanish School this is a great option for you!

If you're considering learning Spanish in La Paz, you should definitely consider learning Spanish with ABC Spanish Tuition and William Ortiz. William’s knowledge, and skill is only matched by his great patience with beginners. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced student one could not wish for a more friendly and positive learning environment. My home stay in La Paz was also wonderful. The family I stayed with was very friendly, helpful, and generous with their home. Nearly every morning at breakfast my host would engage me with conversation in Spanish. This was great practice and it got my mind working for my sessions with William. Learning Spanish in the context of La Paz is inspiring; La Paz is a beautiful highland city with a rich history. There are some great sights to see in La Paz and the people are fantastic, very friendly. Again, I highly recommend ABC Spanish, great experience, great teacher, and great city!
