The Spanish Institute is a highly regarded Spanish Language School in Mexico with over 25 years of experience. Received the 2008 Latin American Educational Board Award of Educational Excellence and over the years has received several other International Awards.

Our mission is to provide the best methodology and atmosphere to learn Spanish in, as we help students from all ages and from all over the world to reach and exceed their learning goals and expectations in and outside the classroom. This is accomplished through a complete student-oriented approach, combined with highly motivated, well-trained staff and well-equipped facilities; guaranteeing to make language study successful and enjoyable.

Every member of the Institute is a native Spanish speaker who receives constant training in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language. Our Director was the Spanish Coordinator at the University of Oklahoma before coming to the Institute.

Communicative Focus: Our functional approach to language acquisition emphasizes in using Spanish in authentic and diverse circumstances. We have a "communicative" focus, concentrating on verbal interaction in Spanish. This is the reason even our group program includes two hours daily of individual conversation.

The Institute is located in the Historic Center of Puebla, Mexico in a superbly restored and modernized, with state-of-the-art infrastructure, Capuchin Ex-convent from the 17 Century (part of the history of Puebla.)

Our program is basically an all-inclusive program, you will not be surprised with textbook costs, e-mail costs, Internet access costs, host family costs, meals cost, tips, etc. The only thing not included with our program is your round-trip ticket from your home country to Puebla, Mexico.
