| i've been told that Germany is a very nice country. I'm having a hard time finding a German tutor, so I thought, why not go to Germany? I researched it a little bit and appears very expensive. Is that true? |

| Maybe because the dollar is weak right now. |

it is true that europe is more expensive for americans now as euro is stronger than dollar.
but foreign language schools in europe are in general pretty expensive anyway. everywhere - germany, france, spain (although spain is cheaper than the other two, because of the lower standard. but there can be of course no comparison to prices in south america..)
standard in western european countries is relatively high, and so are the prices, both of classes and accommodation.
maybe you'll find Austria cheaper than Germany, but there is also not a big chance to find something really cheap. Try smaller cities rather than big tourist centres. |
